The Corporate Pact for Integrity and Against Corruption was launched on June 22, 2006, on the initiative of the Ethos Institute of Business and Social Responsibility, UniEthos - Training and Development of Socially Responsible Management, Patri Government Relations & Public Policies, United Nations Program United Nations Development Program (UNDP), United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) and the Brazilian Committee of the Global Compact.
The Business Pact for Integrity and Against Corruption (Clean Company) aims to work with companies to promote an ethical and just market. It presents a set of guidelines and commitments to be adopted by companies and signatory entities.
Aiming to reinforce institutional values, such as dignity, respect and sustainability, Jaguar Mining has associated with Ethos Institute, a civil society organization of public interest. The mission of the institute is to mobilize, raise awareness and help companies to manage their businesses in a socially responsible manner, making them partners into building a fair and sustainable society.
THE CONTAGEM'S INTEGRITY SEAL (CIS) recognizes companies that spontaneously adopt good practice and integrity measures and seeks to encourage companies to comply with legislation, in particular 12.846 / 13 law, also called the Anti-Corruption Law, ensuring transparency and a good reputation in the market.
