| Paciência's mining complex is composed of three underground mines (Santa Isabel, Palmital and NW1) that utilize the "cut and fill" mining method and a treated tailings backfill system. Paciência's CIP (carbon-in-pulp) plant is currently processing 1,800 tonnes of ore per day.
Location
The Paciência mining complex is located 50 km northwest of Belo Horizonte by tarmac road. Belo Horizonte is a city of over 4 million people and considered to be the mining capital of Brazil.

Expansion Plan
Jaguar's plan is to add tonnage from the multiple mineralized zones identified at Paciência along the 20-km concession where historical surface mining by the Portuguese in the 18th century is clearly visible. Jaguar is presently drilling along strike and intends to develop these gold bearing structures to expand the existing processing plant to meet its production targets. As the existing structures are open at depth, Jaguar's management believes additional resources will support operations at this level for many years beyond the current measured resource base. In addition, Jaguar has an active exploration program on several targets in close proximity to Paciência where additional mineralized zones are known to exist.
