Position: Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Lamond is a Professional Mining Engineer who brings more than 25 years of mining experience to the Board of Jaguar Mining and has held senior management positions overseeing or stationed at operations in Peru, Chile, Honduras, Mexico, USA, Canada and Australia. From 2013 to 2015, Mr. Lamond was the President and Chief Executive Officer of Crocodile Gold Corp before the July 2015 business combination of Crocodile Gold Corp and Newmarket Gold Ltd. Prior to this, Mr. Lamond held the positions Group General Manager and General Manager with Nyrstar NV from 2009 to 2013. Mr. Lamond was Vice President of Operations and General Manager of Gold Hawk Resources prior to the acquisition by Nyrstar NV in 2009.
Mr. Lamond received a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mining Engineering from Laurentian University and is member of the Association of Professional Engineers of Ontario, Northwest Territories and Nunavut.
Position: Vice President Finance, Interim Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Ahmed (CA) has over 10 years of experience in the mining industry with expertise in financial management, strategic planning, cost control, corporate turnaround, and business process improvement. He obtained his Chartered Accountant designation with PriceWaterhouseCoopers LLP and later worked with Ernst & Young LLP in their mining advisory practice.
Mr. Ahmed joined Jaguar in August 2014, after working at Barrick Gold Corporation for over 7 years, where he held progressively senior positions in corporate finance functions, and held leadership roles at site operational finance. At Jaguar, he is responsible for all aspects of financial management for the Company including financial reporting, business analytics, performance measurement, tax, treasury, IT, procurement and other aspects of supporting operations. He has collectively over 19 years of work experience working in North America, South America and Asia. Mr. Ahmed is also a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) USA and the Financial Executives International (FEI) Canada, where he is also actively involved as a volunteer.

Position: Executive Vice President, Operations
Mr. de Oliveira joined Jaguar Mining as Executive Vice President, Operations in May 2015
Mr. de Oliveira has been serving the mining industry for more than 39 years mainly in Latin America (Brazil, Chile, Uruguay and Venezuela) and Africa (DRC, Mali, Mauritania and Zambia), with a broad experience in industrial minerals, cobalt, copper, and mainly gold where the majority of his professional practice has been focused.
Mr. de Oliveira has solid experience in Project Development, Project Construction, Commissioning and Start-Up, and Operations Management with a successful track record of accomplishments. Before joining Jaguar Mining, he served as CEO of Lachlan Star Limited from May 2012 to April 2015. Mr. de Oliveira is a professional mining engineer with an MSc in Mineral Processing, a MBA in Project Management, a PMP Certification in Project Management, and is earning his PhD degree in Management. He is fluent in Portuguese, English, Spanish and French languages.
Position: Vice President -- Technical Services
Neil Hepworth is a Mining Engineer with over 30 years of experience, the majority of which is related to underground mining operations, but in addition, he has several years of open pit experience. Neil's knowledge of geology and geotechnics complements his in-depth underground narrow vein operational and technical experience. Previously he was COO for Jaguar, Senior Vice President of Development and Brazil Operations for Aura Minerals Inc., Vice President of Operations for both European Goldfields Ltd and Crew Gold Corp. and Mine Manager at Neves Corvo underground mine in Portugal. Neil has held progressively responsible technical and operational roles in both major companies and juniors and is recognized for his geotechnical expertise in mine operations throughout Africa, Europe and South America.
Position: Vice President, Geology & Exploration
Mr. Lopez joined Jaguar Mining as Director of Mine Geology in August 2014.
Mr. Lopez is a Professional Geologic Engineer with over 29 years of experience in Mining Geology and Exploration. Mr. Lopez has played major roles in the exploration, development and the production of precious metals deposits and mines all over North and South America (Canada, Mexico, Peru, Ecuador, Chile, Guyana, Surinam, French Guiana and Brazil). While serving Cambior Inc. and Anglogold Ashanti, he has strongly contributed to successfully bring several world-class gold deposits from the greenfield exploration stage to development.
Jean-Marc received a Bachelor degree in Geologic Engineering from the Ouro Preto School of Mines and an MBA in Project Management from the Getulio Vargas Foundation. Mr. Lopez is a Member of the Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy. He is fluent in French, Portuguese, English and Spanish.
