Gary E. German Position: Chairman (1)(2)(4) Mr. German has over 35 years of experience in developing and financing of global resource projects and companies. He spent 28 years with the Noranda Group, and was a Director and COO of TVX Gold Inc., Senior Advisor to the CEO, Saudi Arabian Mining (Ma'aden) and Director-Advisor to numerous public international resource companies. Mr. German holds an engineering degree from the University of Toronto.
Daniel R. Titcomb Position: President and CEO, Director Mr. Titcomb has nearly 15 years of executive, acquisition, project management, and corporate development and finance experience in the Brazilian natural resources and infrastructure development industries. Previously, he was founder and President & CEO of Brazilian Resources, Inc., the founder of Jaguar. He also founded and operated a civil and structural construction company in New Hampshire, USA. Mr. Titcomb holds B.S. degrees in industrial engineering and business management from Keene State College.
Anthony F. Griffiths Position: Director (1)(2)(3) Mr. Griffiths has over 40 years of senior management and director experience at TSX-listed companies. Current and past directorships include Alliance Atlantis Communications Inc., Fairfax Financial Holdings Ltd., ShawCor Ltd., Vitran Corporation, Canadian Tire Corporation and Mitel Corporation. Mr. Griffiths holds an MBA from Harvard University.
William E. Dow Position: Director Mr. Dow worked for 33 years as an Actuary for Aetna Life & Casualty Co. During his career, he was an Executive Officer, a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries. Mr. Dow holds a BA degree in Mathematics from Middlebury College. He has served on the board of Brazilian Resources, Inc. since 1992 and is the current chairman.
Andrew C. Burns Position: Director (1) Mr. Burns is an independent consultant and director. Previously, he spent 38 years with a big four accounting firm, latterly as a senior partner responsible for offices in the Americas, Europe and South East Asia. He is a Chartered Accountant, Certified Management Consultant and holds an MBA from the University of Western Ontario. He is on two TSX listed boards and chairs two audit committees.

He has over 22 years of executive, operational, business development/finance, project, and engineering management experience in the mining industry. He has held senior positions with Stillwater Mining Company, Placer Dome Inc., Falconbridge, Fording Coal Limited and Cleveland Cliffs Inc. Mr. Clausen holds Bachelors and Masters degrees in mining engineering from Queens University.
